The short version: this app collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no way to. Everything below is detail.

What is collected about you

Nothing.

The app has no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no tracking, and no third-party services of any kind. Nobody — including the developer — receives any information about you or your use of the app.

This is not only a promise. The app is installed without the Android internet permission, which means the operating system will not let it make a network connection even if it tried. You can check this yourself in Android Settings → Apps → Solitaire → Permissions.

What is stored on your phone

The app saves a small amount of information on your own device so it can remember your preferences and your record between sessions:

• which draw style you chose (1 card or 3 cards)
• whether celebrations are switched on
• whether the clock is shown
• which theme you picked, and whether four-color suits are on
• whether you have already been shown how to move a card, so that you are only shown it once
• how many games you have played and won, your best time, your total playing time, and your fewest moves

That is the entire list. It is a handful of numbers and settings. There is no name, no email address, no contacts, no location, no device identifier, no advertising ID, and nothing that identifies you or your phone.

This information stays on your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. You can also clear the game record at any time from Settings → Your games → Reset.

The “Get in touch” button

Settings has a button that opens a new email to the developer. It opens your own email app with the message already started; nothing is sent unless you write it and send it yourself, exactly as with any other email you write.

The message comes with three lines already in it, saying which version of the app you have, what model your phone is, and which version of Android it runs. Those are there because they are usually what makes a problem findable, and they are put in the body of the message rather than attached invisibly so that you can read them and delete them before you send.

They describe the phone and not the person. There is no identifier of any kind in them: the same three lines would be produced by every Pixel 8 Pro running the same Android and the same version of this app.

Android backup

Android’s own backup service may copy these settings and totals to your Google account, along with the data of other apps on your phone, so they survive if you get a new phone. That is a feature of Android rather than of this app, the data goes to your own Google account, and the developer has no access to it.

You can turn it off for all apps in Android Settings → Google → Backup.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, of any age, so there is nothing that could be collected from a child.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address and the date at the top will change. Since the app collects nothing, any change is far more likely to be a clarification than a new practice.
